Web Development

• Duration: 1 day
• Session times: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (deliverable hours = 7.00)

This one day, hands on course will introduce some of the advanced functionality of Dreamweaver. Students will learn how to connect Dreamweaver to a database, add records to it and retrieve information from it. Students will work with recordsets, create interactive page elements, manipulate an existing database using Dreamweaver and explore user authentication. This course will explore the functionality in Dreamweaver as related to building dynamically driven websites.

This course DOES NOT cover database creation, ASP programming, IIS or working with SQL. It only covers working with data driven sites from the visual design side of Dreamweaver.

Prerequisites

To ensure your success, you must have basic knowledge of HTML and completion of the Visual Web Desing with Dreamweaver Level 1 and Level 2 classes.
