General

• Duration: 2.0 days
• Session times:
  First day:   9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  Other days:   9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (deliverable hours = 12.0)

This two day course is designed to explore multiple uses of the SMART Board interactive whiteboard as well as its various software components and will cover Level 1 and Level 2 materials from SMART Technologies. Students will participate in hands-on exercises that guide them through the features of the SMART Technologies Interactive Whiteboard to enhance instruction, comprehension and presentations.

Objectives

Given a SMART Board, SMART Board software and SMART Technologies Users Guides, participants will be able to:

• Use the control panel to customize the SMART Board
• Customize the Floating Tools to enhance presentations
• Use SMART Notebook 10 to create multimedia presentations
• Use the SMART Board with third party "Aware" applications
• Record actions on the SMART Board with SMART Recorder
• Describe the features of SMART Video Player
• Use the Lesson Activity Toolkit features to enhance lesson with interactive elements.
• Locate additional resources and lessons plans to enhance the SMART Board functions
