MOREnet has implemented a new disk quota system in the kinetic service that will allow an organization to better track how much disk space is being used and control costs from year to year. This change will affect every individual who has a kinetic e-mail account and/or web space.

This two hour hands-on session will give users of individual accounts the skills they need to manage their e-mail account and/or web space. This course is recommended for individual account holders. If you are a current kinetic administrator, see the class titled "Managing kinetic Disk and Web Site Quotas for kinetic Administrators."

Objectives

Given instructions, resources, access to the kinetic Manager and account information, participants will demonstrate their ability to manage their individual kinetic account by error-free performance of the following tasks during their sessions:

• Log into account manager
• Change password
• Set e-mail forwarding
• Review account details
• View quota usage values
• Log into webmail
• Identify quota usage bar
• Change index options to display file size of message
• Download and/or print messages to save
• Save attachments
• Manage e-mail folders
• View quota usage values for an account
• Run the disk quota report
