General

• Duration: 3.0 days
• Session times:
  First day:   8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  Other days:   8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (deliverable hours = 21.0)

This camp is designed to expose participants to a wealth of online resources available to librarians, teachers, faculty, staff, students and patrons. Attendees will experience hands-on skill development as each resource is explored in depth.

This camp is comprised of the following four classes:

• Exploring MOREnet's Online Resources - Save time by having periodicals, newspapers, and company statistics at your fingertips
• Search Engines - Make your Internet searches more powerful
• Mining the Deep Web - The Internet is full of hidden resources. Learn how to mine the web to your benefit.
• NetSmartz - Keeping kids safer on the Internet is an immediate concern. Learn how to promote this valuable resource in your organization.
