General

Exploring MOREnet's Online Resources  

  • Duration: 1 day
  • Session times: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (deliverable hours = 6.0)

The online resources listed are provided to MOREnet members through funding by the Missouri General Assembly. This appropriation is made to the Secretary of State's Office and is administered by the Missouri State Library.

This class is designed to familiarize participants with the various resources available to MOREnet members. The instructor will demonstrate each resource. Participants will search, explore and practice using the resources through hands-on exercises.

At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Access online resources available through MOREnet
  • Display familiarity with the toolbars of each resource
  • Demonstrate effective searching through general and refined search techniques
  • Print, e-mail and save search results
  • Navigate among the online resources
  • Navigate within each online resource
  • Distinguish differences among online resources
  • List methods of implementing online resources into current programs
